For taking an acknowledgment or proof of a deed, or other instrument, to include the seal and the writing of the certificate, the sum of fifteen dollars ($15) for each signature taken.
Administering an oath or affirmation to one person.
Executing the jurat and including the seal.
For all services rendered in connection with the taking of any deposition, the sum of thirty dollars.

No fee may be charged to notarize signatures on vote by mail ballot identification envelopes or other voting materials. However travel, time and distance fees will apply.

Immigration Forms: $15.00 per individual, per set (not a notarization) A Notary Public qualified and bonded as an immigration consultant may enter data, provided by the client, on immigration forms provided by a federal or state agency. The fee for this service may not exceed $15.00 per individual for each set of forms. If a Notary provides additional notarial services (ex: completing acknowledgments or Jurats), the Notary may charge the notarization fees listed above. (GC 8223)
Fee is still due & payable if signing does not occur for any reason when notary arrives, or if appointment is canceled 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled time. CANCELLATION policy is one hour prior to signing appointment otherwise travel fee will apply.
Voting Materials (GC 8211) A Notary may not charge notarial fees for the following;

Government Code section 8211 specifies the maximum fees that may be charged for notary public services. However, a notary public may decide to charge no fee or an amount that is less than the maximum amount prescribed by law. The charging of a fee and the amount of the fee charged is at the discretion of the notary public or the notary public’s employer, provided it does not exceed the maximum fees.
